An oriented strand board (OSB) panel is raised to continue enclosing a section of the new elevated station at Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station. Work is done around the clock during the 24 hours of sunlight during the austral summer, late October through mid-February. Exterior construction is done during the summer. Interior work is done during the winter.
