When the Ocean Giant cargo ship docked at McMurdo Station this year, a mobile causeway was built in Winter Quarters Bay so the vessel can offload all the cargo McMurdo needs for the next year. Antarctic Support Contract team members, along with members of the U.S. Coast Guard, made preparations for this week's delivery of materials and supplies from the ship.
