An aerial view of the Lake Hoare camp facilities in the Taylor Valley, McMurdo Dry Valleys. Lake Hoare is off-camera at left. Canada Glacier is behind the photographer.

The main hut, containing the kitchen and gathering area is the blue building at upper left. A close inspection will show several solar panels surrounding the left side of the main hut. The three smaller blue buildings are the science laboratories.

The green Jamesway structure holds additional supplies, a wash room and a Do Not Freeze science staging area. To the right is a small building with a generator that serves as a back-up to the solar power. The other small building holds tools.
The two small blue buildings below the Jamesway are outhouses.

Scientists and camp staff sleep in tents, which are not shown.
