The south side of Discovery Hut, located on Ross Island. This pre-fabricated hut was erected in February 1902 by the British National Antarctic Expedition. The men lived on the ship Discovery, while this hut held their supplies. Visitors today can still see wooden crates filled with food.

The hut is maintained by the New Zealand Antarctic Heritage Trust.
