McMurdo Station is the largest research facility in Antarctica. The numbered structures are: 1) helicopter landing pad; 2) Crary Science and Engineering Center; 3) Dormitories; 4) the under-construction Information Technology and Communications addition to the existing Science Support Center; 5) one of several fuel storage tanks.
