Inside the bouldering cave at McMurdo Station, Antarctica. A small area inside a building has been converted into a bouldering cave. Artificial rocks have been attached to the wall and ceiling, allowing climbers to practice hand and foot holds. A double layer of old mattresses provide a soft landing and comfy spot to study the routes. In another building in McMurdo, is a two-route rock climbing wall. A wide variety of recreational activities are available to personnel in McMurdo.
