An Australian Airbus A319 jet at the Annual Sea Ice Runway, near McMurdo Station. The Australians landed the jet at US Antarctic airstrips, training the crews and vetting the aircraft in preparation for full-scale operations at the newly constructed Wilkins glacial ice runway near Australia's Casey Station.
