Photo Usage and Submission Information

Welcome to the U.S. Antarctic Program digital photo library.

Usage: All photos are free to the public. Reproduction and distribution are encouraged, however, the photographer and the National Science Foundation must be credited.

Feedback: We welcome your opinions and suggestions. Send an email to PhotoLibrarian@usap.gov.

Submissions: We welcome photo submissions to the digital library. We especially appreciate images that represent Antarctic science. Note that while you will receive photo credit, the image becomes property of the National Science Foundation. Photos must be digital and a minimum of 300 dpi for a 4x6 inch photo.

Download the Release Form (PDF 27 Kb), complete the information and fax it to 303.790.9130. We will contact you and make arrangements to e-mail or ftp the image(s). Photos will not be added to the library until these steps are taken.
